An intimate and visceral portrait of one of the most extreme places in the Western Hemisphere- the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, South Dakota. Pine Ridge is a place where time ticks to unique rhythms and the day to day struggle for survival is etched deep into the rock formations and onto the faces of all living things. The BUFFALO HUNT is at once beautiful and desolate, tender and bawdy, funny and dark, poetic and realistic, grim and hopeful.
